ready to make an uproar?
here’s the deal:
The billionaires enjoy massive tax breaks while we’re saddled with skyrocketing bills, stagnating wages, and crushing debt.
Our technology is stealing our jobs, spying on us, harming our kids, and rotting our brains.
Our corporate overlords work with corrupt politicians in both parties to build gas-guzzling data centers.
The system is broken. A handful of elites are pocketing mind-blowing profits off our labor and our data.
We need real progress – not “economic growth” that never seems to trickle down to us.
How advanced we are as a society should be measured by how happy we are. How connected we feel to our neighbors. How healthy our bodies and minds are, and how healthy our planet is.
so what’s our vision?
We’re building a mass movement across the country to stop the tech oligarchs from remaking society by their playbook.
We’re putting an end to corporate control over our lives by taking on greedy industries – and the lobbyists and lawmakers doing their bidding.
We’re joining people from around the world to fight for our lands, our livelihoods, and our right to have the final say over our futures.
We’re demanding an economy that promotes the well-being of all people and stewards our land, water, and air for generations to come.
We’re fighting for ownership over our technology and the wealth that it produces.
It’s time to punch up. Let’s make an uproar together.
-
Individually, we are powerless against big corporations and corrupt decision-makers. But if we come together, we can reclaim our right to build a better future. That’s why we believe organizing our communities is one of the most important tasks we need to take on.
-
There is no left or right. There is only up and down – and we're done with the elites at the top dividing the rest of us. It will take a big movement to win, and anyone who is ready to take on elite impunity is heartily invited to join.
-
All our individual fights are connected to a bigger picture of elite power and overreach. Take data centers, for example: they’re noisy, polluting machines in our backyards – and they also enable Big Tech to hurt our economies, our social fabric, and our climate. We’re fighting to change the bigger picture.
-
We should have final say about what happens in our communities, not far-away corporations that think they can buy anything, anywhere. Likewise, in our movement, members come together to make strategic decisions about what happens in each chapter, and in our organization as a whole.
-
The top CEOs and politicians coordinate with their counterparts in other countries to make the global economy work for them. We need to be doing the same with those elsewhere fighting the same fights we are.
-
The stakes are high as can be, so we need to take brave risks. We demand what we really need and take action to make ourselves impossible to ignore. And throughout it all, we have each others’ backs as we fight the good fight.
-
Our detractors will say we are against progress. Well, we are against tech – when it worsens our lives and is developed by elites whose profit motives do not align with our interests. What we’re for is real progress: an economy that promotes our well-being, and technologies that help us live easier, more fulfilling lives.
-
Despair is what they want us to feel. We hold steadfast to the hope that the future can be beautiful, and cultivate the courage we need to make that happen.
